K ei koa koe, e Iharaira, kei whakamanamana, kei pera me era atu iwi; kua whakarerea na hoki e koe tou Atua, kua puremu, arohaina ana e koe te utu i nga wahi katoa e patua ai te witi.

Rejoice not, O Israel, with exultation as do the peoples, for you have played the harlot, forsaking your God. You have loved hire upon every threshing floor.
