N a, ko ta ratou i whakato ai ko te hau, ko ta ratou e kokoti ai ko te paroro: kahore ona witi e tupu ana: e kore te kopuku e whai paraoa: ki te whai paraoa, ka horomia e nga tautangata.

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; should it sprout, it would yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.
