K a haere ahau ka hoki ki toku wahi, kia whakaae ra ano ratou ki to ratou he, kia rapua ra ano toku mata e ratou: a, i a ratou e mate ana, kaha tonu ta ratou rapu i ahau.

Io me ne andrò e tornerò al mio luogo, finch’essi non si riconoscano colpevoli e cerchino la mia faccia; quando saranno nell’angoscia, ricorreranno a me.
