K a rite hoki taku ki a Eparaima ki ta te raiona, taku ki te whare o Hura ka rite ki ta te kuao raiona: ka haehae ahau, ina, ahau ano, a ka haere; ka maua atu e ahau, a kahore he kaiwhakaora.

For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver.
