K a whiua ano ia e ahau mo nga ra o nga Paarimi, mo era i tahu whakakakara ai ia ki a ratou; a whakapaipai ana i a ia ki ona whakakai, ki ana whakapaipai, haere ana ki te whai i ana i aroha ai, a wareware ake ki ahau, e ai ta Ihowa.

And I will visit upon her the days of the Baals, wherein she burned incense to them, and decked herself with her rings and jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, saith Jehovah.
