K a whakakahoretia ano nga wahi tiketike o Awene, te hara o Iharaira; ka puta ake te tataramoa me te tumatakuru ki runga ki a ratou aata, a ka mea ratou ki nga maunga, Taupokina matou; ki nga pukepuke, E hinga ki runga ki a matou.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
