N a kia mea ia ki ahau, E Raniera, e te tangata e arohaina nuitia ana, kia mohio koe ki nga kupu ka korerotia nei e ahau ki a koe; e tu ki runga; kua unga mai hoki ahau inaianei ki a koe. Na i tana korerotanga i tenei kupu ki ahau, ka tu ahau, me te wiri.

And he said unto me, O Daniel, thou man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright; for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
