T ena, ki te hoatu tetahi wahi o tona kainga tupu ki tetahi o ana pononga, mana tera, a taea noatia te tau haere noa; katahi ka hoki ki te rangatira: mo ana tamariki ano ia tona wahi tupu hei wahi mo ratou.

But if he gives a gift out of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his until the year of liberty; after that it shall be returned to the prince; only his sons may keep a gift from his inheritance.
