K aua ano ratou e tango i te pouaru, i te mea ranei i whakarerea, hei wahine ma ratou; engari, ko ta ratou e tango ai hei nga wahine o nga uri o te whare o Iharaira, hei te pouaru ranei a tetahi tohunga.

Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her who is put away; but they shall take virgins of the offspring of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.
