N a reira ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, He pono he ahi toku hae, i ahau i korero ai i te he mo nga toenga o nga iwi, mo Eroma katoa ano; mo ta ratou meatanga i toku whenua hei kainga mo ratou, pau katoa te ngakau ki te koa, kino tonu te hi nengaro, mo tera kia peia atu, kia waiho hei taonga parau.

therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.
