K a tu kau, whakaturia ki runga ki ona ngarahu, kia mahana ai, kia wera ai tona parahi, kia rewa ai tona poke i roto, kia poto ai te waikura.

Then set it empty upon its coals, that it may be hot, and the brass of it may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
