N a ko koe, e te tama a te tangata, kaua e wehi i a ratou, kaua e wehi i a ratou kupu, ahakoa he tataramoa, he tumatakuru i tou taha, a e noho ana koe i roto i nga kopiona; kaua e wehi i a ratou kupu, kaua hoki e pairi ina titiro mai ratou, ahakoa he whare whakakeke ratou.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
