M ea atu ki nga kaipani o te paru kihai i konatunatua, tera e hinga; ka puta te ua, he waipuke; ka taka iho ano koutou, e nga nganga o te whatu; ka wahia ano hoki e te hau, e te paroro.

Say to them who daub it with whitewash that it shall fall! There shall be a downpour of rain; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a violent wind shall tear apart.
