N a ka haere mai ki ahau a Hanameere tama a toku matua keke, ka pera me ta Ihowa i ki ai, ki te marae o te whare herehere, a ka mea ki ahau, Tena koa, hokona taku mara i Anatoto, i te whenua o Pineamine; kei a koe hoki te tikanga o taua wahi, mau ano te utu e hoki ai; hokona mau. Katahi ahau ka mohio, he kupu tenei na Ihowa.

Then Hanamel, the son of my father’s brother, came to me in the open space of the prison, as the Word of the Lord had said. And he said to me, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth in the land of Benjamin. For you have the right to own it. Because of your place in the family you have the right, so buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the Word of the Lord.
