E ngari ko te iwi e tuku ana i o ratou kaki ki raro ki te ioka a te kingi o Papurona, a ka mahi ki a ia, ka waiho ratou e ahau ki to ratou oneone, e ai ta Ihowa; a ka ngakia e ratou, ka noho hoki ratou ki reira.

And the nation that causeth its neck to enter into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and hath served him -- I have left it on its ground -- an affirmation of Jehovah -- and it hath tilled it, and dwelt in it.'
