N ana, ka unga tangata ahau ki te tiki i nga hapu katoa o te raki, e ai ta Ihowa, a ka unga tangata ahau ki taku pononga, ki a Nepukareha kingi o Papurona, a ka kawea mai ratou ki tenei whenua, ki ona tangata hoki, a ki nga iwi katoa nei a tawhio noa; ka tino whakangaromia ratou e ahau, ka meinga hei miharotanga, hei whakahianga atu, hei ururua tuturu.

Behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, says the Lord, and I will send for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will devote them and utterly destroy them and make them an amazement, a hissing, and perpetual and agelong desolations.
