N o te mea ka awhinatia mai ahau e te Ariki, e Ihowa; koia ahau te whakama ai; koia i whakamarotia ai e ahau toku kanohi ano he kiripaka; e mohio ana hoki ahau e kore ahau e whakama.

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
