W hakatata mai ki ahau, whakarongo ki tenei; ko taku, no te timatanga ra ano ehara i te korero puku: i nga wa o aua mea, i reira ahau; na, inaianei na te Ariki, na Ihowa ahau i unga mai, na tona wairua ano.

Come near to me and listen to this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it happened, I was there. And now the Lord God has sent His Spirit in and with me.
