N ana, ka rite ratou ki te kakau witi, ka wera i te ahi; e kore ratou e ora i te ngaunga a te ahi: ehara i te ngarahu hei whakamahanatanga, ehara hoki i te ahi hei painatanga.

Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver their lives from the hand of the flame; there shall not be a coal left to warm at, nor light to sit before it.
