K o te hunga e tahoro ana i te koura i te peke, e pauna ana i te hiriwa ki te pauna, kei te utu i te kaitahu koura, hanga ake e ia hei atua; tapapa ana ratou, koropiko ana.

They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
