N aku te marama i whai ahua ai, naku i hanga te pouri; ko ahau te kaihohou rongo, te kaihanga ano o te kino: ko ahau, ko Ihowa, te kaimahi o enei mea katoa.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
