K o te kupu tenei a Ihowa, a te Kingi o Iharaira, a tona kaihoko ano, a Ihowa o nga mano, Ko ahau te tuatahi ko ahau ano te mutunga; Kahore atu hoki he atua, ko ahau anake.

Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.
