K o te kupu tenei a Ihowa, a tou kaihoko, nana nei koe i whai ahua ai, no roto mai ano i te kopu, Ko Ihowa ahau, ko te kaihanga o nga mea katoa, naku anake nga rangi i hora, naku i takoto ai te whenua: ko wai toku hoa?

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I am Jehovah, that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth (who is with me?);
