A taua ra ka karanga nui ia, ka mea, E kore ahau e pai hei kaiwhakaora; kahore hoki he taro i toku whare, kahore he kakahu: kaua ahau e meinga e koutou hei rangatira mo te iwi.

he will lift up in that day, saying, I cannot be a healer, and in my house there is neither bread nor clothing; ye shall not make me a chief of the people.
