K ahore ona wahi ora, ake i te kapu o tona waewae a tae noa ki te mahunga; he kaiakiko kau, he karawarawa, he whiunga kua pirau: kihai ena i romia, kihai i takaia, kihai ano hoki i whakangawaritia ki te hinu.

From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment.
