H e he tenei i roto i nga mea katoa e meatia ana i raro i te ra, kotahi tonu te mea e pa ana ki te katoa; ko te ngakau ano hoki o nga tama a te tangata ki tonu i te kino; kei roto hoki te haurangi i o ratou ngakau i a ratou e ora ana; a muri iho k a riro ratou ki nga tupapaku.

This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
