K aua ano e tango i te utu whakapati: he mea whakamatapo hoki te utu whakapati i te kanohi kite, he mea whakaparori ke hoki i nga kupu a te hunga tika.

Do not take pay in secret for wrong-doing. For such pay blinds the one who sees well and destroys the words of a good man.
