T ena ko te ra whitu, he hapati no Ihowa, no tou Atua: kaua e mahia tetahi mahi i reira e koe, e tau tama, e tau tamahine, e tau pononga tane, e tau pononga wahine, e au kararehe hoki, me tou tangata ke i roto i ou tatau;

But the seventh day is a Day of Rest to the Lord your God. You, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, your cattle, or the traveler who stays with you, must not do any work on this day.
