N a kaua ahau e whakarerea, e te Atua, a koroheke noa, hina noa ahau, kia whakakitea ra ano e ahau tou kaha ki tenei whakatupuranga, tou nui ki nga tangata katoa e puta mai a mua.

Now also, when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not, until I have proclaimed thine arm unto generation, thy might to every one that is to come.
