K aua tou mata e huna ki ahau, kaua tau pononga e peia atu ua riri koe: ko koe toku kaiawhina, kei mahue ahau i a koe, kei whakarerea e koe e te Atua o toku whakaoranga.

Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!
