N a homai ana e koe he tohu, he merekara, ki a Parao, ki ana tangata katoa, ki te iwi katoa o tona whenua: i mohio hoki koe ki ta ratou whakakake ki a ratou. Na kua whai ingoa koe; koia ano tenei inaianei.

Then You made special things to see and did powerful works against Pharaoh, against all his servants and all the people of his land. For You knew that they were proud and made it hard for our fathers. And You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.
