N a kia whakaritea he kawenata ki to tatou Atua, kia whakarerea aua wahine katoa me a ratou tamariki, kia rite ai ki te whakaaro i whakatakotoria e toku ariki, e te hunga ano e wehi ana i te whakahau a to tatou Atua: kia rite ano te meatanga ki ta te ture.

Now, therefore, let us make a covenant with our God to send away all the women and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of the Lord and of those that fear the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.
