H eoi ki te whakaiti taku iwi i a ratou, kua karangatia nei hoki toku ingoa ki a ratou, ki te inoi, a ka rapu i toku mata, ka tahuri mai i o ratou ara he; ka whakarongo mai ahau i te rangi, ka muru i to ratou hara, ka whakaora i te mate o to rato u whenua.

if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
