N a, i te roroa o nga amo, kitea ai nga pito o nga amo i te aaka, i te ritenga atu o te ahurewa; otiia kihai i kitea ki waho; na kei reira tonu a tae noa ki tenei ra.

The poles extended so that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.
