N a ka kumea te kopere e tetahi tangata, he mea noa iho, tu tonu te kingi o Iharaira i waenga pu o te hononga iho o te pukupuku: na reira tera i mea ai ki te kaiarataki o tana hariata, Tahuri tou ringa; kawea atu ahau i roto i te ope; kua tu hoki ahau.

Now a certain man drew a bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of his armor. So he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and take me out of the battle, for I am wounded.”
