M o ratou i whakarere i ahau, i tahu whakakakara ki nga atua ke, he whakapataritari hoki i ahau ki nga mahi katoa a o ratou ringa; koia i ngiha ai toku riri ki tenei wahi, a e kore e tineia.

because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore, my wrath is kindled against this place and shall not be quenched.
