N a haere ana ia ki te matapuna o te wai, a maka ana te tote ki roto, me te ki ano, Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa, Kua ora tenei wai i ahau; heoi ano o konei mate, o konei whakatahe.

Allora egli si recò alla sorgente delle acque, vi gettò il sale e disse: «Cosí dice l'Eterno: "Io rendo sane queste acque, da esse non verrà piú né morte né sterilità"».
