A no ra ko te kingi, E mea ana tenei, Naku tenei tamaiti ora, nau te tamaiti mate; e mea ana ano tenei, Kahore; engari nau te tamaiti mate, naku hoki te tamaiti ora.

Then the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son who is living, and your son is the dead one.’ The other says, ‘No! Your son is the dead one. My son is the living one.’”
