A ma koutou e karanga ki te ingoa o to koutou atua; maku hoki e karanga ki te ingoa o Ihowa. Na, ko te Atua e utua ai te karanga ki te ahi, ko ia hei Atua. Na ka whakahoki te iwi katoa, ka mea, Ka pai tena kupu.

And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
