N a ka mea tera ki a ia, Homai tau tamaiti ki ahau. Na tangohia ana e ia i tona uma, a kawea ana ki te ruma i runga, ki te wahi i noho ai ia, whakatakotoria ana e ia ki tona moenga.

He said to her, “Give me your son.” He took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into the room where he stayed, and laid him on his own bed.
