N a ka mea a Iraia ki a ia, Kaua e wehi, tikina, meatia tau i ki mai na; Otiia matua hanga mai te tahi wahi hei keke maku, kia nohinohi, ka mau mai ai ki ahau; a muri iho ka hanga ma korua ko tau tama.

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said; but first make me a little cake of bread baked under the ashes and bring it unto me, and afterwards thou shalt make for thee and for thy son.
