K o ahau hoki, i toku haerenga mai i Parana, ka mate a Rahera ki toku taha, ki te whenua o Kanaana, ki te ara, e takoto mai ana he wahi e haere atu ai ki Eparata: a tanumia ana e ahau ki reira ki te ara ki Eparata, ara ki Peterehema.

And as for me, when I came from Paddan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when there was still some distance to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way to Ephrath (the same is Beth-lehem).
