A ka mea ia ki a ia, E mohio ana toku ariki he kahakore nga tamariki, a kei ahau hoki nga kahui me nga kau whai kuao: kia kotahi noa rangi e akiakina ana ratou, na ka mate katoa nga kahui.

And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
