W hakatika, haere ki Paranaarama ki te whare o Petuere, papa o tou whaea; ka tango mai i reira i tetahi wahine mau o nga tamahine a Rapana, tungane o tou whaea.

Arise, go to Padan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father; and take yourself a wife from there of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother.
