U nd da die von Asdod des andern Morgens früh aufstanden, fanden sie Dagon auf seinem Antlitz liegen auf der Erde vor der Lade des HERRN. Aber sie nahmen den Dagon und setzten ihn wieder an seinen Ort.

And the Ashdodites rise early on the morrow, and lo, Dagon is fallen on its face to the earth, before the ark of Jehovah; and they take Dagon, and put it back to its place.
