U nd Samuel starb; und das ganze Israel versammelte sich und trug Leid um ihn, und sie begruben ihn in seinem Hause zu Rama. David aber machte sich auf und zog hinab in die Wüste Pharan.

¶ And Samuel died, and all Israel gathered together and lamented him and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose and went down to the wilderness of Paran.
