W enn jemand wider einen Menschen sündigt, so kann's der Richter schlichten. Wenn aber jemand wider den HERRN sündigt, wer kann für ihn bitten? Aber sie gehorchten ihres Vaters Stimme nicht; denn der HERR war willens, sie zu töten.

If a man sin against a man, then hath God judged him; but if against Jehovah a man sin, who doth pray for him?' and they hearken not to the voice of their father, though Jehovah hath delighted to put them to death.
