S aul antwortete Samuel: Habe ich doch der Stimme des HERRN gehorcht und bin hingezogen des Wegs, den mich der HERR sandte, und habe Agag, der Amalekiter König, gebracht und die Amalekiter verbannt;

Saul said to Samuel, Yes, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord and have gone the way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag king of Amalek and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
