U nd Israel sandte Boten zu Sihon, dem König der Amoriter zu Hesbon, und ließ ihm sagen: Laß uns durch dein Land ziehen bis an meinen Ort.

Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, king of Heshbon, and Israel said to him, Let us pass, we pray you, through your land to our country.
