U nd vor dem Stuhl war ein gläsernes Meer gleich dem Kristall, und mitten am Stuhl und um den Stuhl vier Tiere, voll Augen vorn und hinten.

Before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, shining and clear. Around the throne and on each side there were four living beings that were full of eyes in front and in back.
